Tumuñan Gran Reserva Syrah Red Wine 750 cc.
We consider this wine a Gran Reserva Plus due to its great quality. Grown in Alto Colchagua at the foot of the Andes mountain range, it has 100% Syrah.
The vineyard is located 35 km south-west of San Fernando, in the foothills. Surrounded by a centuries-old native forest, the Tumuñan River valley is oriented from north to south, and is characterized by cool breezes, strong sun and low night temperatures.
The fruit is harvested by hand and destemmed directly into small-batch fermentation tanks with three bites daily. After pressing the skins in a traditional basket press, the wine is aged in 225-litre French oak barrels for 24 months before being prepared for bottle.
Tasting: Intense ruby red color. Aromas of blackberries, plums and violets with earthy nuances. Velvety and full-bodied palate, with notes of black fruit, black pepper and licorice. Balanced acidity, long finish. Ideal to accompany strong dishes and cured cheeses. Suitable for aging. Serve at 16-18°C
